Gauge is approxmately 3 sts per inch on US size 11 (8mm) needles, for an extremely quick project. The pattern is written for chunky weight yarn. Pattern has step by step written instructions for ease in following directions. The hat is written for three sizes - Large Child/Small Adult, Medium Adult and Large Adult and the scarf is approximately 3" wide by 55" long. Kit includes pattern and enough yarn to make the largest size hat and the scarf with Lorna's Laces "Revelation", 100% thick and thin hand-dyed wool, and Berroco's Zap, 100% Nylon eyelash yarn - both extremely soft and cozy. Winter Hat and Scarf is an easy-to-knit fun design for
